The Bloom vest is knitted in Dundee at The Knitshop and linked together by Jolene, the vests are then washed and hand finished. Made from a soft 100% lambswool that had been spun in the UK using quality fibres to ensure a luxurious finish.

This knitted vest is designed with an extended shoulder detail to create a flattering boxy silhouette and is finished with a rib on the neck and sleeves. The V-neck is placed on the front and the back to give the wearer freedom to wear the garment reversible. The initial inspiration for this design has been developed from Jolene’s graphic floral designs she created during her undergraduate Textile degree at DJCAD in Dundee.

The Bloom vest is decorated with an exaggerated sunflower motif to represent a personal symbol to Jolene, who has had an affinity with sunflowers since she was a young girl, planting them in the garden with her family. This seasonal flower has always had an unconventional notion of beauty and Jolene wanted to translate her love for them into a wearable design. The design has a Jo-AMI twist of using unorthodox colours to depict the floral symbol.

Available in 2 colours as seen in the photos and in 3 different sizes: Small (size 8-12), Medium (size 10-14) or Large (size 12-16) depending on your desired fit.

This product is mostly made on a made to order basis, but we do hold a very small amount of stock. Please allow 2 weeks for your order to be completed., but if your size and colour is in stock it will be out to you in a quicker turnaround. This allows Jo-AMI to eliminate waste, sustainably creating pieces specifically for each customer.
